GWU/MS/CSFI Event 2023 - INTO THE BREACH WORKSHOP

Location

The workshop occurred at the Media & Public Affairs Building, George Washington University, located at 800 21st Street Northwest, Room 308, Washington, DC 20052.

Hosts

The event was a collaborative effort among Conquest Cyber, the Cyber Security Forum Initiative (CSFI), the Cybersecurity Strategy and Information Management (CSIM) master's program at GWU's College of Professional Studies, and Microsoft Federal.

Gain hands-on experience using automated investigations and self-healing capabilities.
Develop skills to locate threat indicators and entities using advanced hunting features.
Learn to use integrated, automated, extended detection and response.

Requirements

Hardware: A personal laptop with wireless networking capabilities.
Software: A modern browser—Edge and/or Firefox were preferred; Chrome was also supported.

Event Schedule

Doors opened at 8:00 a.m., the workshop commenced at 9:00 a.m., took a 45-minute break, and concluded at 3:00 p.m.
