Participants explored barriers to Cyber Threat Intelligence sharing and devised actionable strategies to foster a culture of cooperation and trust. Speakers emphasized the US Air Force 16AF-led Global Eyes initiative and their first virtual capability exercise, demonstrating global cyber information sharing among US and allied partners in an unclassified ecosystem.
Discussions covered lines of effort such as:
- Creating a resilient and defendable digital ecosystem.
- Enhancing international computer emergency response team information sharing.
- Increasing operational collaboration and cyber capacity-building efforts internationally.
Despite the apparent benefits, most organizations remain hesitant to share cybersecurity intelligence. The roundtable covered the roots of this reluctance. It discussed the benefits of collaborative security efforts and highlighted innovative technological approaches to sharing cybersecurity information at scale, speed, and high-fidelity levels.
